Monday, February 10

Global Evangelism Summit

During  Baptist Campus Ministry’s racial reconciliation week, join an SBTS team on the University of Louisville campus as we give away hot chocolate while engaging UofL students with the Gospel and directing them to the Baptist Campus Ministry.

The Strategy and Motive of Short Term Missions
Adam Greenway will explain your role in short term missions as a student, layperson, pastor, or missionary, to magnify His global renown, followed by field preparation workshops with Jeff Walters, Jeremy Pierre, and Laurie Taylor.

9:30 PM  Boyce Dorm Meeting • Heritage Hall
Join the student led dorm meeting as they gather to fellowship, sing, pray, and hear God’s Word.  Pastor Joey Eaton of Garfield Avenue Baptist Church will be sharing the evening’s message.

New Breed Church has just launched!  Join SBTS as we partner with them by engaging their neighbors with the Gospel while promoting their upcoming poetry slam and prayer walking.

7:00 PM • “Love on Louisville” Koinonia • Heritage Hall
Women are invited to join Koinonia to create care packages for Scarlet Hope.  These care packages, along with ones made by Scarlet Hope, will be going out to over 300 women in the adult industry here in KY.  Rachelle Starr, founder of Scarlet Hope, will join us that evening to talk about the history, ministry, and ways ladies can serve.

Whether you serve at Jefferson Street or Scarlet Hope, you will have the opportunity to hear testimonies from individuals whose lives have been changed by Christ through these ministries.  Also, you will have time to talk with those who are currently being discipled through these ministries.  There will be participation in a service project at each location as well.

Partnering with Refuge, you have the opportunity to engage internationals through home visits, while prayer walking, or as you conduct on the ground ethnographic research.  Join us as we reach out to the nations here in Louisville!

Movie: “End of the Spear” The story of 5 missionary martyrs who gave their lives to bring the gospel to the Quichua Indians  (Jim Elliot, Nate Saint, Pete Fleming, Ed McCully, and Roger Youderian)
