Preach the Word
In 2016, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will continue our annual one-day initiative, Preach the Word. The goal is to serve the churches of the Kentucky Baptist Convention by sending out its best trained seminarians in September 2016 to “Preach the Word.”
All across Kentucky, the churches of the KBC proclaim the Word of God from their pulpit and support the work of God through the Cooperative Program. The sacrificial giving of each church to the Cooperative Program is then invested in the seminary training of the next generation of church leaders. When a church participates in Preach the Word, they will see firsthand how their investments in the Cooperative Program are used to train and equip those who have been called into ministry.
Pulpit Supply List
Local churches may be in need of someone to preach at their services. This is a great opportunity for an SBTS student or local alumnus to gain preaching experience and be a blessing to a local community of faith.
