Jim Stitzinger



Jim has served as a church planter and pastor in SW Florida and  as the pastor of local outreach and evangelism at Grace Community Church in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his M.Div at The Master’s Seminary in 2002, contributed to Evangelism in the John MacArthur Pastoral Library Series and edited the Grace Evangelism training curriculum. In addition, Jim served as adjunct professor of evangelism for The Master’s Seminary and as chaplain at multiple police departments and hospitals. Jim’s passion is to exalt Christ and equip believers to be relentless in evangelism, engaged in missions and prepared for church planting.

Joy Craig

Administrative Assistant to the Director


Joy is a graduate from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, and is finishing her Masters of Divinity in Islamic Studies from Southern Seminary. She is from Ohio, just north of Cincinnati, and proudly cheers on the Buckeyes and Bengals. Joy spent time as a Journeyman missionary in South Asia for 2 years. She hopes to serve along-side her husband in a church plant upon completion of her studies. 

Michael Wellman

Student Evangelism Coordinator


Michael was born and raised in the beautiful blue grass state of Kentucky.  He is a graduate of Clear Creek Baptist Bible College and is pursuing an Masters of Divinity at SBTS with a concentration in Biblical Spirituality.  God has given Michael a passion to mobilize believers to proclaim the Gospel locally and across the globe.  He and his wife Chandra have two sons (James & Caedmon) and are expecting their first daughter (Thea) in November.


Aaron Harvie

Church Planting Mobilization Strategist, NAMB


Aaron is an experienced church planter having planted in the Philadelphia area in 1999. During his time as pastor, he led that original church to multiply to 4 other churches.  God has given him a passion to discover, develop, and deploy effective church planters.  Aaron grew up just north of Cincinnati, went to high school in S. California and completed his undergrad in Arkansas.  He has been all over and is able to help various planters find their place of ministry.


Dennis Barton

IMB Representative and Recruiting Specialist


Dennis was born in Texas, and grew up primarily in Oklahoma.  He did his university studies in Oklahoma (The University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University) and seminary work in Texas (Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary).  Dennis met his wife, Janey, when they both served as summer missionaries in Atlanta while they were college students.   Sensing God’s leadership to work among the nations, the Bartons were appointed in 1981 to serve as church planters in France.  With time, Dennis’ field of responsibility expanded, and after several years of various leadership responsibilities, including strategy associate for Western Europe, the Bartons returned to the States in 2008 for Dennis to serve as Richmond Associate for Western Europe.  His last field assignment was Strategy Research Associate, living in Prague, Czech Republic.  Dennis and Janey have two children, Patrick (27), married to Stephanie; and Jessica (19).
