Qualified biblical church leadership is vital.
The church needs competent leaders ready to proclaim the gospel and equip the saints. For this reason, the apostles guarded their devotion to prayer and ministry of the word. Part of the task for which we send missionaries out from among us is to address this very need. Therefore, we must carefully and prayerfully strive together to ensure that we do not falter in identifying and developing biblically qualified, competent leaders in the churches we plant to the ends of the earth for the glory of God.
The Leadership Debate brings together experienced missionary practitioners to present and defend their approaches to church leader development on the mission field. For these men, the debate is not theoretical but the very thing they do.
