Evangelism and Local Outreach

Proclaiming the gospel is a non-negotiable.

It's not a calling for some, but a commission for anyone who associates with Christ. Team up with the Bevin Center to take your classroom knowledge to the mission field.

Gospel Outreach

Race Track Chaplaincy

The Kentucky Race Track Chaplaincy serves many of the major race tracks in the state of Kentucky. At the backside of Churchill Downs, chaplains are pointing all race track personnel to Jesus Christ by serving the spiritual, physical, and social needs of those on this thoroughbred race track and training center.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

Get involved with FCA to begin working with Middle School and High School athletes as a chaplain, using sports as a platform for evangelism and discipleship.

Baptist Campus Ministry at the University of Louisville

The University of Louisville BCM is here to help every student encounter Jesus and experience life to the full. They need volunteers who will help disciple students and live on mission.

Speak for the Unborn

Speak for the Unborn is a ministry of the local church that seeks to make abortion impossible through both godly and legal means.

Practically, the ministry is devoted to evangelistic sidewalk counseling and a vibrant prayer ministry with the hope that the gospel would be the means by which God would bring an end to abortion in this country and beyond.

Youth for Christ

Louisville Youth for Christ recognizes that in order to make a significant impact on student’s lives we must engage them on the Campus, in the Community, and with the Church.  Without this three-fold connection, students are left without the needed support for their families and lives.  Simply, Greater Louisville’s Youth for Christ seeks to engage students where they are.

Crisis Intervention

BsideU for Life

Located next door to an abortion clinic BsideU for Life is a non-profit special health clinic designed to demonstrate and share the life-changing message of Jesus Christ by providing practical help and loving support to those facing an unplanned pregnancy.

Scarlet Hope

Scarlet Hope’s mission is to share the hope and love of Jesus with women in the adulting entertainment industry. They have several volunteer opportunities, mostly for women. They are looking for women to counsel the women they work with, they are looking for people to teach life skills classes, they are looking for prayer warriors, and they are looking for women to be on the front lines of evangelizing women in the adult entertainment industry in Louisville.
