Opportunities for Students at the IMB

The International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention partners with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are making disciples and multiplying churches among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God.

Hands On

Hands On provides semester-long mission opportunities for college students and young adults to serve Christ with a missionary mentor. Boyce College and Southern Seminary students can receive 9 credit hours for doing the Hands On opportunity through the IMB. The cost is $3,950

Journeyman

Serving for two to three years, these missionaries are recent college graduates with a passion to take the gospel to some of the hardest, least-evangelized places on earth.

Summer Mission Trips

Join with thousands of college students using their Summer break to reach the lost with missionary teams. IMB has numerous, inexpensive ways for you to serve for 6-8 weeks each summer in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas, and many other places all over the world.

Long-Term Opportunities

Long-term workers are the heart of Southern Baptists’ international missionary force. This lifetime investment begins with an apprentice term and transitions to career service.

Sharing the gospel, making disciples and planting churches in a cross-cultural context is the primary responsibility of every missionary.
